The Signature Collection

My signature collection is a small set of limited edition prints, chosen on account of their 'wow' factor.  Prints can be purchased framed or unframed.

Barn swallow feeding chick

I was very lucky to witness a pair of barn swallows feeding their chicks at Farlington Marshes in August 2021. The resulting photo has recently won a number of awards, including a bronze medal at the Royal Photographic Society's 2022 Nature Exhibition.

I am offering this image in a limited edition of 10 signed and matted 50 x 40 cm prints at £50 each. Please contact me to purchase and discuss framing options.

Red stag roar

The roar of the red stage is a tell-tale sign that Autumn has arrived. This image was captured at Richmond Park in October 2021 when the rut was fully underway.

This image is offered in a limited edition of 10 signed and matted 50 x 40 cm prints at £50 each. Please contact me to purchase and discuss framing options.

Kingfisher with catch

The kingfisher is a truly magnificent bird and I was thrilled to be able capture this female just before she swallowed her tasty minnow. I included this image in my ARPS distinction panel and am now offering it as a matted and signed 50 x 40 cm print in a limited edition of 10. It is £50 unframed. Please contact me to purchase and discuss framing options.

Imperial stag

A red deer stag's age is determined by the number of tines on its antlers. This is an 'Imperial' stag, with six tines, suggesting that he is sexually mature, but unlikely to be successful during the autumn rut.

I captured this stag just after he decided to cut his losses when competing with the older males during the 2020 Richmond Park rut.

This image is offered as a 40 x 40 cm square print, signed and matted in a limited edition of 10. Please contact me for additional framing and purchase options.

Little owl in the forest

Little owls are truly delightful creatures and it is especially wonderful to encounter them in the forest, when thy come out to bask in the first rays of the morning light. I included this image in my ARPS distinction panel and it was awarded a 'Bronze' distinction by the Society for International Wildlife Photographers 2021 competition in aid of the RSPB.

I am now offering it as a matted and signed 50 x 40 cm print in a limited edition of 10. It is £50 unframed. Please contact me to purchase and discuss additional framing options.

Smirking red fox

The red fox is a beautiful and enigmatic animal. Foxes are primarily active during the night, so it is a real thrill to see one actively hunting during the day. I photographed this red fox in the summer of 2020, when the days were still long and hungry foxes were out and about before sunset.

This image was part of my ARPS distinction panel. I am now offering it as a matted and signed 50 x 40 cm print in a limited edition of 10. It is £50 unframed. Please contact me to purchase and discuss additional framing options.

Simply put, short-eared owls are awesome. I photographed this short-eared owl in December 2020, as it was cruisin' for voles just after sunset. I am now offering it as a matted and signed 50 x 40 cm print in a limited edition of 10. It is £50 unframed. Please contact me to purchase and discuss additional framing options.

Eider ducks over a glacier delta

Iceland's melting glaciers make spectacular abstract patterns as they form deltas that constantly change as they flow into the ocean. I have had the privilege to photograph Iceland's deltas from a helicopter on two occasions, and both experiences were truly spectacular.

In this image, I captured three eider ducks as they flew across the delta. I am offering this image as a A2 size (420 x 594 mm) signed and matted print in a limited run of 10 images at £100 each. Please contact me to purchase and discuss framing options.

Hall of the Mountain King

As a Scandinavian country, Iceland is naturally overcrowded with trolls. I managed to photograph this character (with the benefit of creative licence) on one my helicopter flights over the glacier deltas.

I am now offering this image as a A2 size (420 x 594 mm) signed and matted print in a limited run of 10 images. Each is price at £100. Please contact me to purchase and discuss framing options.

The doors & windows of
Kolmanskop

Windows and doors determine how a building interacts with its environment. Windows permit a views of the outside world, while doors govern its access. These architectural features reveal much about the history of a building, as well as the tastes and attitudes of its inhabitants.

The windows and doors of Kolmanskop are the last cultural remnants of a diamond mining community established in the harsh Namibian desert 100 years ago. Amazingly, many decorative features remain as the brutal Namibian landscape slowly reclaims this former German village.

The impact of heat, wind and gravity are clearly evident in what remains of the buildings. Yet, curious details remain -- stencilled friezes delicately define a room's perimeters; glazed fanlights stalwartly keep the desert sands at bay. The point at which these manmade and environmental elements meet exemplifies how provincial attitudes can stubbornly resist stronger and more natural forces.

Please contact me if you are interested in this image as a 2 X 3 foot poster, priced at £40. Framing is optional at an additional cost.

A tree grows in Africa

The temperature in the Namibian desert is brutally hot. And yet trees grow and thrive, thanks to the intense rains that come in the winter.

I photographed this tree in the Winter of 2019 and included a crop of this photo in my LRPS distinction panel.  I am now offering it as an A2 print (40 x 50 cm), in a signed and matted in a limted edition of 10. It is £100 unframed, although framing options are available at an additional cost.

Quiet reflections of the Punalu'u lily

Punalu'u is a tranquil beach on the southeast coast of Hawaii's Big Island. Its' beautiful black sands provide the perfect camouflage for the sea turtles that stay here fore relaxation and refuge.

Just beyond the shore are a series of small anchialine pools that are filled with invasive, but beautiful blue star lilies. The still water, made dark by the lava-black sand serves as the perfect mirror for reflecting the lily's beautiful blue petals.

I photographed this lily when I visited the Big Island in 2016.  I am now offering it as a limited edition. It is £100 unframed. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this image.
