About GnomeGirl

Kirsten Asmussen (aka 'Gnomegirl') is a Surrey-based photographer with a passion for woodland animals living in Europe and North America.
On these pages she shares some of her favourite images, as well as information about some of the places and animals that she has photographed.
Distinctions & Awards
Kirsten is proud to have earned two Distinctions from the Royal Photographic Society (RPS) — the Licentiate (LRPS) awarded in October 2019 and an Associate (ARPS) in Natural History, awarded in September 2021. Her ARPS panel was featured in the Winter 2021 edition of the Iris, the RPS' magazine of the Natural History Group.
